Dynamic Dance

The Dynamic Dance has been described as the best social event of the year!  This CVEF fundraiser is open to the entire community.

We have changed to format of the evening this year to a more casual evening focusing on the fun in fundraising.  We will have our no-host bar, light appetizers (nacho bar), dancing to our awesome DJ, live dessert auction, graduation ticket packages and silent auction items.

All the funds raised from this event go back to our teachers and students in the form of School Grants shortly after the event.

This event is only possible with the help of many people who coordinate the dinner and activities, secure gifts and prizes and much more.  If you would like to volunteer to help make this event a reality, please complete the volunteer form and someone will contact you.

The Dynamic Dance will be held on Friday, October 19th, 2018 at Castro Valley Masonic Center from 7 to 11 pm.  The Castro Valley Masonic Center is located at 4521 Crow Canyon Rd in Castro Valley.  There will be no host cocktails, appetizers, music, dancing, and an auction.  Fun and entertainment all night long!

All proceeds benefit the CVEF School Grants Program.

Bike for Education

At Castro Valley Educational Foundation, we want to have a fun event for the community, and at the same time, raise money to fund special school projects and needs.  These include teacher grants, scholarships, after school programs, among others. Students and parents can ride bikes together to make our schools great!

We are planning on having 3 levels of bike rides:

1.  For families with small children, we will have a short bike ride in the neighborhoods near Castro Valley Village

2.  For more experienced riders, we will map out a longer ride of about 12 miles (up Cull Canyon Rd and back)

3.  For our biking experts, we will provide a ride out Redwood Rd (approx 25 miles)

Check back soon for more details and a link to sign up!

Scholarship Program

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to help students fund the increasing costs of college and higher education.  Last year we gave 45 scholarships for a total of $55,000, and hope to increase the amount of scholarship money given to students each year.

Go to our scholarship page for the list of scholarships available for high school seniors and information if you would like to provide a scholarship to our graduating seniors.
