2011 Dental Screening Schedule

February is Dental Health Month and through the efforts of CVEF's Dr. Neal Fong, all 4th grade students will have the opportunity to participate in a dental screening program.

The following is the schedule by school:

The screening will include:

• 1-2 minute screening of general dental health, classified into 4 classes. Also an assessment of general oral hygiene, and suggested need for dental sealants or orthodontics
• Kids will receive dental goody bags with toothbrush and toothpaste.
• A results letter will be sent to parents of screened children.
• A list of referral resources for kids who don't have a dentist.
