Grant Application

THE GRANT PROCESS

The CV Educational Foundation has only ONE funding cycle per year. All applications must be postmarked by December 1, 2008. After the cut-off date, the CVEF grant committee begins evaluation, and no additional submissions can be considered. Evaluation of all grants is usually completed  in three to four weeks after the cutoff date. All applicants are notified of the decision concerning their grant as promptly as possible. Grants are presented in January 2009 and reported to the Castro Valley Unified School District at the meeting in April.

Please answer all questions on separate paper. Include the question followed by your answer.

Applicant and his/her principal must sign and date the grant application.

10. Are you coordinating your efforts with other teachers/parents/students? If yes, specify.

11. How do you plan to evaluate the success of this program/project? (Post funding evaluation required to be eligible for future grant funding.)
