Some of the Scholarships (more to be added to the list) that will be offered to Castro Valley High School senior students this year are:

NOTE: Your online scholarship application can NOT be saved to be completed at a later time. Therefore the worksheet has been provided for you to gather ALL the information before completing and submitting the online application. Please take advantage of this opportunity.

$20,000 Dr. Mary Jane Stamm Scholarship : For students who excel academically ($5,000/yr for 4 years). Requires submission of SAR in addition to application and transcript.

$2,500 Castro Valley Rotary Scholarships (2): For students of all skills and interests.
$1000 Joe & Elaine Pasqual Education Scholarship: For a student who is interested in a career as a Primary or Secondary School Teacher.

$500 Chuck Fehely Memorial Scholarships (2): For student/athletes.

$500 Dr. Joshua Fong Memorial Scholarships (2): For students of Chinese descent.

$500 Felix Elizalde La Raza Education Fund Scholarships (2): For Latino students interested in mass media and for Latino students with financial need.

$250 Felix Elizalde La Raza Education Fund Arts Scholarship: For Latino students whith career interests in graphic deisgn, visual arts, photography, illustration or related fields, and with financial need.

$500 Castro Valley Educational Foundation Teaching Scholarship:: For a student exhibiting academic excellence and interest in a teaching career.

$500 Castro Valley Educational Foundation Science Scholarship: For a student exhibiting academic excellence and interest in the sciences.

$500 Sunrise Rotary Scholarships (2): For well-rounded students of all skills and interests.

$300 Charles Duerig Memorial Scholarship: For a students who have shown interest in one or more of the following areas - Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts (Eagle scout a plus); attending Cornell University; participation in band, cross country, track or tennis; volunteered for environmental causes; majoring in engineering, math or science.
$500 Body By Pam Scholarship: For students exhibiting and committed to healthy living.
$500 Eden Medical Center Scholarship: For students who seek careers in the health sciences.
$500 Charles Schwab & Co.Scholarship: For a student who has participated in Business/Economics coursework and seeks a career in Business or Finance. Minimum 3.75GPA.
$500 CVHS PTSA Community Service Scholarship: For a student who has demonstrated outstanding community service/volunteerism. PTSA membership and minimum 2.5 GPA is required.
$500 Castro Valley Arts Foundation Scholarship: For a student with music, drama, choir, visual arts, theater tech or performance experience at Castro Valley Center for the Arts.
$250-$1,000 CVHS Athletic Boosters/Gene Johnson Scholarships (2+): For student/athletes who have participated in varsity sports at CVHS. Must be enrolled in a college or trade school program.
$250 Arts & Design Scholarship: For students interested in the Performing or Visual Arts, Graphic Arts and Design, Industrial or Landscape Design and similar majors.
$200+ The Eden Hospital Emergency Dept. Nursing Scholarship: For an outstanding student who desires a career in Nursing.
