Carlos Enriquez, Ph.D.
Detailed Description of this session:
I will bring petri dishes showing microbial growth (fungi and bacteria) in different types of culture media. I will bring also microscope slides with different types of microorganisms.

About Dr. Enriquez:
I began working on water microbiology in 1978. After obtaining my Veterinary degree in 1980 I did research on diseases of young animals (calves and piglets). In Australia I did work on avian viruses; and in Arizona my research was on health-related water microbiology, with emphasis on enteric viruses. In 2001 I moved to the Bay Area where I worked in R and D for the Clorox company. Since 2006 I have been a microbiology Instructor at Chabot College. I hold a patent on the removal of viruses from water by filtration.
